Rodchenko Alexander Mikhaylovich (1891, Moscow – 1956, Moscow).
Studied in Kazan Art School (1910-1914) under N.I. Feshin and then entered Stroganov College, Moscow. His art development was influenced by K.S. Malevich. Worked in Narkompros (1918-1921) and became one of the most active members of the Left Front of the Arts. Known as a representative of constructivism and production art, book designer, one of the founders of advertisement in the USSR and photomontage. Collaborated with publishers of such magazines, as "Kino-fot", "LEF", "Novy LEF", "USSR in Construction", "Sovetskoe kino". His artworks can be found in the Tretyakov Art Gallery and the State Russian Museum.
