Goncharov Andrey Dmitrievich (1903, Moscow – 1979, Moscow).
People’s artist of Russia (1979), corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Artists (1973). Honored art worker of the RSFSR (1969). Laureate of the USSR State Award (1973). During 1918-1927 studied in Moscow at VKHUTEMAS-VKHUTEIN under I.I. Mashkov, A.V. Shevchenko and V.A. Favorksiy. One of the OST founders (1925). During 1943-45 worked in the magazine publishing house “Frontovoy yumor”. During 1930-1934 gave lessons in Moscow Polygraphic Institute (professor since 1958).
