Maximov Kondrat Yevdokimovich (1894-1981).
Painter. 1914-1917 - studied at the Kazan Art School. 1957 - Honored Artist of the TASSR. 1960 - People's Artist of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. 1974 - Honored Artist of the RSFSR. He painted landscapes, still lifes. He regularly went to sketches on the banks of the Volga and Kama; traveled a lot around the country - visited the Urals, the Crimea, the Carpathians, the Caucasus. He lived and worked in Kazan. In 2008, a retrospective exhibition of Maximov was held at the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan. The most significant collections of works by the artist are the State Museum of Fine Arts of the Republic of Tatarstan in Kazan and the Almetyevsk Picture Gallery.
