Kalinin Mikhail Davydovich (1922-?)
Soviet graphic artist, poster artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. Lived and worked in Uzbekistan. Author of political and agricultural posters: "Cattle - a well-fed and warm wintering!" (1953), "Are You Ready for Sowing?" (1954), "We will elect the best sons and daughters of the Motherland to the Supreme Soviet of the Uzbek SSR!" (1955), “Cotton is our wealth! Pick it up! " (1956), "By your honor, cotton grower, cherish, you gave your word - hold back!" (1960), "Live, Study and Build Peacefully!" (1960). Some of the posters he made in collaboration with V. I. Morgunov ("Cotton is our wealth! Do not leave", 1953). Circulation posters of M. D. Kalinin are kept in the Russian State Library, private Russian collections.
