Livanova Vera Matveevna (1910-1998).

Soviet artist-decorator, painter, easel graphic artist, poster artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1938). The author of the first poster that proclaimed the defeat of Nazi Germany. In 1923-1924 Livanova accepted T.L. Sukhotina-Tolstaya. In 1926 he entered the Moscow State Academic Art School in memory of 1905, (MAHU). In 1928-1930 he studied at the VKHUTEIN (Leningrad Higher Artistic and Technical Institute) at the theater department. Its teachers are the masters of Soviet art of the pre-war period Bruni, Lev Alexandrovich, Gerasimov, Sergei Vasilievich, Konchalovsky, Pyotr Petrovich, I. I. Rabinovich. As a poster artist, Livanova is greatly influenced by the famous artists of the early Soviet period A.A. Deineka, Yu.I. Pimenov, Yu. Ivanovich, V.E. Tatlin. In 1931-1932 he created film posters for Intourist. In 1932 he worked as a graphic artist in Perm at the All-Union Chamber of Commerce. From 1937-1968 he worked in the publishing houses IZOGIZ and Soviet Artist. In the period from 1958 to 1968 she fulfills orders for "Agitplakat". Since 1938 he has been actively participating in exhibitions. The artist's works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, State Russian Museum, Pushkin Museum im. Pushkin, in the Perm Art Gallery, as well as in a number of museums abroad.
