Sorokin Sergey Yurievich (born 1950, Arkhangelsk).
People's Artist of Russia. Member of the Union of Artists of Russia. The author of caricature-satirical works dedicated to the life of the people. A regular participant in exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art in Jersey City, the artist's solo exhibitions were held in 1986 and 1987. In Nizhniy Novgorod; in 1992 in Moscow, Hamburg, Nizhny Novgorod; in 1995 in Nizhny Novgorod; in 1996 in Hamburg; in 1997 in Nizhny Novgorod; in 2003-2004 in Sarov; in 2005 in Hamburg. The works of S.Yu. Sorokin are in the Nizhny Novgorod Art Museum, in the Boksary Art Museum, in the Boldin Museum-Reserve, in private collections in Russia, Holland, Germany, France, Israel, Australia, the USA.
