Ivanov Viktor Semenovich (1909–1968).
An outstanding Soviet graphic artist, painter, film artist. Member of the USSR Union of Artists. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1955). Corresponding member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR (1958). He was awarded the State Prizes of the USSR (1946, 1949). Most known as a master of political posters, for his life he created more than 300 pages on various topics, many of which were included in the gold fund of the Soviet poster. Painting works and posters of the artist V. S. Ivanov are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum and in many regional museums and private collections.
