Romadin Nikolai Mikhailovich (1903, Samara – 1987, Moscow).
The People’s Artist of USSR, the full member of the Academy of Arts of USSR. The laureate of the Stalin prize awarded for his series of landscapes «Volga, the Russian River» (1946), the laureate of the Lenin prize, 1980, for the cycle of landscapes. He studied in the Samara artistic college, then in Moscow, at the Artistic and Theatric Classes/the Artistic and Theatric Institute (1923- 1930), the studio by R.R. Falk, I.I. Mashkov, А. Drevin. Since 1929, a member of AHRR. He was a member of the group of young artists ROST. A participant of exhibitions since 1931. Creations by N. M. Romadin are kept in the Tretyakov State Gallery, the State Russian Museum, and the Australian Museum of Arts in Melbourne
