Turzhanskii Leonid Viktorovich (1875, Yekaterinburg – 1945).
Studied in Yekaterinburg under N.M. Plusnin (1889-95), at Stroganov Higher Fine and Graphic Arts College (1896-97), at Moscow School of Arts, Sculpture and Architecture (1898-1907). Since 1904 regularly participated in exhibitions. Member of the Union of Russian Artists, Association of Itinerant Art Exhibitions, (1911-12), Association of Revolutionary Russian Artists (1924-1927). Exposed with the Association of Itinerant Art Exhibitions (1904-12), the Union of Russian Artists (1904-23), Association of Revolutionary Russian Artists (1926). During 1919-1920 gave lessons at Open Art Studios in Yekaterinburg. The master’s works are exposed in many regional museums and private collections.
