Rerberg Fedor Ivanovich (1865-1938).
While studying at the Academy of Arts (1885-1892), Fedor Rerberg was awarded two Silver Medals. He was given a title of 'unclassified painter' upon graduation in 1892. Fedor Rerberg was a founding member of the Moscow Society of Artists (1893). He participated in exhibitions of the Society for Traveling Art Exhibitions, the Moscow Society of Artists, the Moscow Society of Art Lovers. The artist ran a painting and drawing studio of his own in Moscow, where K. Malevich, A. Sofronova and V. Khodasevich took classes. He had his one-man shows in Moscow in 1910 and posthum in 1963-1964. Fedor Rerberg's works are in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, and in a number of regional museums.
