Solomin Nikolay Konstantinovich (1916, Moscow -1999, Moscow).
People’s Painter of the RSFSR. In 1936 he graduated from the 1905 Year School of Arts, where he studied under N.P.Krymov. Later, he studied in Surikov Moscow State Institute of Arts under S.V.Gerasimov, G.G.Riazhsky, and M.F.Shemiakin. Participated in exhibitions since 1950. He restored the Rubo’s Sebastopol Panorama (1954) and the frescos of the Jesus the Saviour Cathedral (1990s)Artist’s works are kept in the Tretyakov State Gallery and many regional museums, as well as in the private collections of France and Japan.
