Pivovarov Viktor Dmitrievich (born in 1937, Moscow).
Artist, graphic artist, classic of Moscow conceptualism. He graduated from the Moscow Art-Industrial School named after Kalinin (1957), Moscow Polygraphic Institute (1962). He illustrated children's books, collaborated with the magazines Murzilka and Funny Pictures. Notable works: a series of monotypes "The Temptation of St. Anthony" (1967), "Blue glasses of a mad policeman", twelve albums: "Macrogomus", "Tears", "Face", "Garden", "Kabakov and Pivovarov", "Projects for a lonely person" and others. Also, the UFO publishing house in Moscow published two books of essays-memoirs of the artist - "Agent in Love" (2001) and "Gray Notebooks" (2002) and a collection of critical articles "On Love of Words and Images" (2004). Personal exhibitions of the artist were held in Moscow, Czechoslovakia, Sweden. His works are in museums and private collections in Russia, the Czech Republic, Germany, etc.
