Denisov Nikolay Viktorovich (1917-1982).
Soviet painter, graphic artist, poster artist. Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR since 1942. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1976). Born in Petrograd. The son of a famous poster artist Deni (Viktor Nikolaevich Denisov). He studied at the Moscow Art Institute named after V. I. Surikov under A. A. Deineka, I. E. Grabar, G. G. Ryazhsky (1937–1942). From the 1940s, he began working at the B. Grekov Studio of Military Artists. He writes thematic paintings, including seascapes. In the 1950s and 1970s, the artist combined work in Grekov’s studio and poster art, with painting, painting landscapes, paintings on the theme of the Navy. In 1977, Nikolai Denisov was awarded the "Silver Medal named after M. B. Grekov" for a stream of thematic works on the fleet.
