Evzerekhin Emmanui Noevich (1911-1984)

Photojournalist, classic of Soviet photography. In the late 1920s, he worked as a freelance correspondent for the TASS Press Cliche. Since 1933 he has been working in the TASS Photo Chronicle. In 1934 he was transferred to Moscow. Filmed on many fronts during the war years. The most famous were photographs taken in Stalingrad. Participated in the liberation of cities: Minsk, Warsaw, Koenigsberg, ended the war in Prague. Working in Moscow, Evzerikhin had the opportunity to shoot the main events of the era: the Congress of the Comintern and the Congress of Soviets, at which the Constitution was adopted; construction, arctic expeditions and sports parades. He photographed M. Gorky, M. I. Kalinin; famous pilots - V. P. Chkalov, M. M. Gromov, outstanding figures of culture and art.
