* Kasli plant. (1749).

The iron foundry was founded by the merchant Ya.R. Korobkov. near the river Kasli. Since its foundation, the plant has been smelting cast iron and iron products (during wars - cannonballs, bombs, grenades, buckshot mines, in peacetime - dishes, stoves, stove accessories, etc.). In 1843, the production of artistic castings began, in 1853 the plant mastered the production of round chamber sculptures. For its iron casting in 1860 at the exhibition of agriculture and industry in St. Petersburg, the plant received its first gold medal. In 1861, the Kasli Casting Plant was awarded a silver medal at the St. Petersburg Exhibition of the Russian Manufactory Industry. Since then, the plant has been a regular participant and winner of Russian and international exhibitions (Paris, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Vienna, Philadelphia, Yekaterinburg, Copenhagen, Nizhny Novgorod, Stockholm, Milan, Malmö). Large orders: architectural casting for the administration of Chelyabinsk (1935), artistic and architectural casting for decoration of Moscow metro stations, embankments of the Moscow River, Moscow bridges and other objects (since 1936), artistic design of the Volga-Don shipping canal (1960), production of sculptural compositions for decoration of Russian cities. In 1958, the Kasli cast-iron pavilion was restored, which has been in the Yekaterinburg Museum of Fine Arts since 1985. Since 2004, the company has been named Kasli Plant of Architectural and Art Casting LLC. Collections of Kasli art castings are kept in the State Hermitage, the State Russian Museum, in the museums of Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk and other cities of Russia.
