Makovskiy Aleksander Vladimirovich (1869-1924). Academician (since 1911). Member of the Association of Itinerant Art Exhibitions. Son of the itinerant artist V.E. Makovskiy. Studied at Moscow College of Arts, Sculpture and Architecture under his father and at the Academy of Arts under I.E. Repin, and in Paris under B. Kormon. His artworks can be found in the State Tretyakov Gallery and the State Russian Museum.
