Antonov Fyodor Vasilievich (1904, Tambov – 1994, Moscow) .
The People’s Artist of RSFSR (1975). He took the higher artistic and theatric classes by S.V. Gerasimov (1922-1929), in Moscow. A member of group «OST» (1927 -1932), a fiend of А. Deyneka and Y. Pimenov. He was a tutor at the Moscow Institute of Decorative Art and the MTI, a professor of painting of the Moscow State Institute of Textiles. The works by F.V. Antonov were exhibited in Japan, Sweden, Denmark, Bulgaria, and Germany. The artist’s personal exhibitions took place in Moscow in 1934, 1954, 1964. The works by F.V. Antonov are displayed in the Tretyakov State Gallery, the State Russian Museum and in many provincial museums.
