Honoured Artist of the RSFSR. Graduated from the Moscow State Art Institute named after I.E. Repin under M.I. Avilov. Exhibited in all-Soviet, all-Russia and zonal exhibitions since 1939. Gave lessons at College named after Serov in Leningrad. The artist's works are represented in many regional museums.
