Yuntunen Sulo Kheikkievich (1915, Petrograd – 1980, Karelskaya ASSR).
People’s artist of the RSFSR. Honored worker of art of the RSFSR and Karelia ASSR. The largest Karelian landscape painter. In 1936-1941 studied at art studio of the House of arts and crafts in Petrozavodsk. Participated in all-union, Russian and Moscow exhibitions since 1950. Personal exhibitions took place in Moscow, Kirov, Petrozavodsk (1965, 1966). The works of the artist are exhibited in the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian State Museum, in many regional museums.
