Kuznetsov Konstantin Pavlovich (1863-1936)
Russian artist, impressionist. Worked in France. Around 1892 he entered the art studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in the city of Saratov, where he met V.E. Borisov-Musatov. In 1896 he made a long trip around Europe. In 1897-1899 studied in the workshop of F. Cormon in Paris. In the 1900s worked in Barbizon. From 1903-1910 participant in exhibitions of the Moscow Association of Artists in Moscow and St. Petersburg, since 1909 - member of the association. In 1909, he performed scenery sketches for the unrealized production of Pelleas and Melisande by C. Debussy for the Opera-Comique. In 2021, the first large-scale exhibition took place at the Tretyakov Gallery. Works by K.P. Kuznetsov are in many museum collections, including the State Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Museum, and abroad.
