Shcherbakov Boris Valentinovich (1916, Petrograd - 1995, Moscow).
Painter. Honored Artist of the RSFSR (1976), People's Artist of the USSR (1986), RSFSR (1981), Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR (1944), Laureate of the Stalin Prize of the third degree (1952), corresponding member of the Academy of Arts of the USSR (1973), Russian Academy of Arts (1992). Graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture (1939). Since 1939 he took part in All-Union, republican, international exhibitions. The artist's works were published in the Ogonyok magazine, were presented as gifts to foreign diplomatic delegations, and were actively sold abroad. The artist's works are in many museums of the former USSR, the State Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum, etc., in the White House and the US Congress, in the family of British monarchs.
