Sachkov Vladimir Vasilievich (1928 - 2005)
Soviet graphic artist, poster artist. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR (1957). He graduated from the Penza art school named after K. A. Savitsky (1948), the Moscow state art Institute named after V. I. Surikov (1954). He worked in various publishing houses in Moscow, including the magazine "Crocodile". In 1950-1960, he created film posters for many films, such as "Twelve chairs", "Soldier Ivan Brovkin", "Mimino" , "Irony of fate or with a light steam", "Quiet don", "Stalker", "Big life". In the 1970s and 80s, the main thing in Sachkov's work was a socio-political poster. He actively collaborated with the publishing houses "Fine art", "Agitplakat" and "Plakat". Some of the most famous works of this period: "In the storm of storms of circling flames" (1966)," Winter morning "(1969)," September 1 – to school "(1970)," five – Year plan of quality – our labor victories "(1975),"Good care-the collective farm income".
