Signed and dated García Barceló fecit 1854, canvas measurements: 95 x 75 cm, measurements 115 x 95 cm. Antolín Monescillo y Viso (Corral de Calatrava, September 2, 1811 – Toledo, August 11, 1897) was a Spanish cardinal, primate archbishop of Toledo. He was previously vicar general of Estepa, canon of Granada, master of Toledo, deputy and senator, elected bishop of the military orders of Calahorra and la Calzada, bishop of Jaén, conciliar prelate of the First Vatican Council and archbishop of Valencia. Joaquín García Barceló (Valencia, 18th century-Madrid, March 30, 1879). A native of Valencia, he was interim professor of elementary studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando and tutor of the children of María Teresa de Borbón. Among his works, There is a Portrait that he presented at the Valencian High School Exhibition of 1845, one of Doña Isabel de Borbón that he painted for the Supreme Court of Justice. Provenance: private collection of an important lawyer and collector, Barcelona.
