Vladimir D. Aleinikov (born. 28 January 1946, Perm) - Russian poet, one of the founders of Smog.
Born on January 28, 1946 in Perm, he grew up in Krivoy Rog, where the family moved in April 1946. His father, Dmitry Grigoryevich Aleynikov, a watercolour artist, a veteran, by nature versatile gifted, musician, gardener, inventor, who knew a lot of crafts, comes from a very ancient Cossack family. Mother-a teacher of Russian language and literature.
He began writing poetry and prose in his school years. He studied music, painting and graphics. In 1962-1964 he was a member of the group of young Krivoy Rog poets. Since may 1962-the first publication of poems in Ukrainian Newspapers. In 1963, during the Khrushchev persecution of formalism, was exposed to denunciation in the Ukrainian press. In 1964 he entered the Department of history and theory of art of the historical faculty of Moscow state University. Acquaintance and friendship with the main representatives of the domestic underground.
In January 1965, together with Leonid Gubanov, he founded the literary Commonwealth of RUSSIA and became its leader. February-March 1965 - smog performances in Moscow. Since 1965-the publication of poems in the West. In the spring of 1965, Aleynikov was expelled from the University. In 1966, he was restored to MSU, from which he graduated in 1973.
Under the Soviet regime at home was not published, more than a quarter of a century poems were distributed in samizdat. In 1971-1978 he was homeless, wandering around the country. He worked in archaeological expeditions, as a loader, a janitor, at school, in a large-circulation newspaper, as an editor in a publishing house. In the early 1980s he wrote poems for children. For several years he wrote internal reviews in Moscow publishing houses. In the 1980s he was known as a translator of poetry of the peoples of the USSR.
The publication of poems and prose at home began in the period of perestroika. The first books of poetry were published in 1987. In the early 1990s, several large books of poetry were published. Now Aleynikov is the author of many books of poetry and prose-memories of a bygone era and his contemporaries. The poems have been translated into various languages.
Member of the editorial Board of magazines "Sagittarius", "Khreschatyk". Member of the Union of writers of Moscow, the Union of writers of the 21st century and the Supreme creative Council of the Union. Member of the PEN club. Since 1991 he lives in Moscow and Koktebel.
