In fact, Grishchenko wrote, painting develops according to its own laws. He clearly identified in his article a number of specific problems of the art of painting, successfully resolved by cubism. This is the problem of Valera, texture, color of the picture, the introduction of a new perspective that "transmits space really" by dissecting objects with planes, and finally-the problem of composition as a" solid construction " of the picture. And in this, it can be noted, Grishchenko's speech was very strongly imbued with the moods of the pre-war Russian avant-garde, which asserted itself in the intention to follow its own laws of the art of painting.
