Scientific heritage:

Nikolai Petrovich Kiselev-a specialist in the history of Russian Freemasonry, who studied Masonic archives for more than half a century. This work was interrupted only while serving time in camps and exile. The results of N. p. Kiselev's research during his lifetime were never published, with the exception of one small article.

Only in 2005, according to the archive of N. p. Kiselev, his research on the Moscow Masonic Lodge "Three banners" was first published, compiled by him from the collected unique materials back in the 1930s.

In addition, the publication's Appendix contains rare materials related to the history of Russian Freemasonry of the XVIII century: letters of masons, speeches in lodges (I. G. Schwartz, Pozdeyev, gine), protocols of lodges, lists of members of lodges, index of names, index of Masonic workshops, etc.

Fate of the library :

Back in the 1920s, N. p. Kiselyov acquired for his library a significant part of the most significant Masonic collection of books of the XVIII—XIX centuries by V. S. Arsenyev-grandson. After the death of Kiselyov in 1965, some unique copies were received by the RGB and VGBIL funds, while the main part of the collection was sold through second-hand bookstores. The main Masonic library of the XVIII—XIX centuries ceased to exist; books from it with the marks of prominent masons are still found on sale.]
