The first issue of the Beak magazine was published instead of the confiscated and banned Woodpecker magazine. During the difficult days of autumn-winter 1905, much attention was devoted to freedom of speech and revolutionary events. Both issues of the Beak magazine were also confiscated by the police, and its editor was sentenced to 6 months in prison. At the moment, the issues of the journal are a bibliographic rarity.
