Weekly journal for physicians, published in 1858-78; the first medical journalistic publication. Founded by F. I. Inozemtsev; since 1861 the body of the Society of Russian doctors in Moscow. An important stage in the creation of the community medicine (Cm. Public medicine) in Russia; in the "M. M. G." was published (1858, No. 4) the first in Russian literature the article by S. A. Smirnov on the interrelationship of medicine and society. "M.
