Letter on Matters of Opinion Handwritten and Signed by the Holy Tzaddik Rabbi Shlomonyu of Sadigura.
Lengthy letter on matters of opinion regarding the Holy Land, handwritten and signed by the Holy Rav Rabbi Shlomo Chaim of Sadigura which was sent to the well-known researcher R. Moshe Chaim Ephraim Bloch in which he praises the situation in the Eretz Yisroel. Tel Aviv, 1964.
In the letter which was written on all sides of an airmail letter, the holy Rav Rabbi Shlomo Chaim of Sadigura writes 'Yiddishkeit such as we have now in our State of Israel we did not have during the first Temple and neither during the second Temple and the constant increase Baruch Hashem of religious education also by advocavy based on love of Yisroel will increase the Yiddishkeit in our state - Israel'. The Rabbi refers to his sister's son the holy Rav of Gwoździec.
He asks to come to Eretz Yisroel to see for himself the situation of observing the Sabbath, Judaism and charity in the State . He asks that he disregard his age and notes that recently a woman aged 108 flew to Australia.
At the end of the letter, he notes that Rabbi Alter Meir [an important Talmid Chacham, researcher and theoretician] is recovering from surgery in his home.
The letter ends with the blessings of the holy Rav, the miracle worker Rabbi Shlomo Chaim of Sadigura.
The holy Rav Rabbi Shlomo Chaim Friedman of Sadigura Rabbi Shlomonyu [1887-1972] the son of the holy Rav the Or Yisroel of Sadigura. Was an Admor together with his brothers the holy Rav the 'Abir Yaakov' and the holy Rav the Kedushas Aharon. Over the years, he stopped serving as Admor in practice; yet remained admired and sanctified by the Chassidim. He was invloved in public activity with organizations and institutions he established and with the 'HaMizrachi'. Immigrated to the Holy Land close to the Holocaust. After the passing of his brother the Abir Yaakov, many came to him for advice and prayer and he heeded to their pleas, working miracles and praying for them and even occasionally conducting a Tishe.
The religious researcher R. Moshe Chaim Ephraim Bloch A colorful figure who was well-known among religious researchers and his many articles have and are still stirring up great interest even dozens of years after their publishing.
Airmail letter. 28X18 cm. Handwritten entirely and signed by the Rav of Sadigura. The edges of the letters have been cut, not affecting the text. Very good condition.
