'Thy end will be very great'  Letter of Divrei Torah by the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Yeshaya First to his leading disciple Maran the author of the Sheves Halevi in his youth, in which he predicts Rabbi Wosner's greatness and his future as a Posek Hora'ah for Beis Yisroel. 


Wonderful postcard-letter handwritten entirely by Maran the renowned Tzaddik Gaon rabbi Yeshaya First Rav of the Schif Schul of Vienna to his 'beloved clear-minded wonderous in Torah and Yiras Hashem' disciple the great Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Halevi Wosner  in which he discusses innovations of the Torah of his Rav Maran the Kesav Sofer and  greatly praises his disciple, predicitng and blessing that in the future 'you shall strengthen by the way of truth and modesty of righteousness to pick flowers on the soul of the Torah and may you constantly rise and thy end will be very great to the glory of your parents and teachers'


The Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Yeshaya First [1857-1943] one of the important disciples of Maran the Kessav Sofer and the Sheves Sofer. A leading founder of Agudas Yisroel. The Rav of the communities of Tirna, Preshov and the Rav and Av Beis Din of Kehal Adas Yisroel (Schif Schul) of Vienna. With the destruction of the community, during the occupation of Austria, he escaped to London, where he lived, worked and passed away in 1943. Authored the Sefer 'Chazon Yeshaya'. 


Postcard-letter 15X11 cm. 19 lines handwritten entirely by the Gaon Rabbi Yeshaya First. On the back of the postcard, the address of Rabbi Yaakov Blau for Rabbi Rabbi Shmuel Halevi Wosner and the sender. Postmark. Very good condition.
