The author wrote in his introduction that his elucidation is based on what he had heard in his youth "from three Geonei Olam ... Rabbi Yitzchak Cohen and the Gaon Rabbi Yisroel the son of the great Gaon Rabbi Shachna and the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Isserel and som Pshatim from my teacher and Rav the Gaon Rabbi Mardush when I was in his yeshiva in Ostroh".
Worn, semi-leather binding. Stains. A small blemish to leaves 2-3. Good condition.
