Sefer Turei Zahav on Choshen Mishpat - Hamburg, 1692 - first edition of the Taz on Choshen Mishpat which was edited by the Chacham Zvi - Copy of the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Breslau Av Beis Din of Milhausen and Bamberg, author of Chok Yosef. Rare
Rabbeinu David Halevi, author of Tureu Zahav, managed to publish in his lifetime his work on Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim and Yoreh Deah only. The work was published with the Shulchan Aruch itself. His work on Choshen Mishpat was not published in his lifetime and was later edited by Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Ashkenazi author of the Chacham Zvi and published as a book in itself. To this edition he added innovations by the author of Kikayon Deyonah and by Rabbi Shmuel Kodinover, He also added his own glosses, beginning with "אמר המגיה". In addition, on the last leaf, he added his own innovations.
Chacham Zvi did not reveal his name on the title page, but only at the end of the book.
On the title page, several ownership notations of Rabbi Yosef Breslau - the son-in-law of the great Gaon rabbi Avraham Broda, author of Toldot Avraham.
