Egypt or Syria, circa 1900. The brass shell casing lamp bases decorated overall with biblical scenes of the sacrifice of Isaac, the giving of the Torah and Moses and Aaron, arabesques and scrolling motifs, with Hebrew inscriptions enameled in black of blessings against evil eye and blessings for good fertility, with an onion domed shade with pierced Mashrabiya roundels and cut out Hebrew inscription, supported by three feet modelled as camels. 152 cm high.
