The Admor Rabbi Shlomo Halberstam of Bobov (1908-1960), the third rebbe of the Bobov family, a descendant of the magnificent Sanz dynasty, miraculously survived the Holocaust, arrived in New York and restored the Hasidism and built it and its institutions throughout the world. Wrote a lamentation about the Holocaust, used to stay away from the controversy and live in peace with all the factions in the ultra-Orthodox community.
