TIENTSIN-PUKOW RAILWAY 5 per cent. LOANS of 1908 and 1910

(LONDON ISSUES).

Fractional Scrip Certificate for one-third of a Funding Bond for £11:10:0.

On presentation at the offices of The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, London, of this Certificate, together with two other Fractional Scrip Certificates making in the aggregate £11:10:0 nominal and upon payment by the bearer of this Fractional Scrip Certificate of the Stamp Duty payable upon the issue of the Funding Bond hereafter referred to, the Bearer will be entitled to receive in exchange for such Certificates, one non-interest bearing sterling Funding Band of the Chinese Government for £11: 100 in accordance with paragraph (3) of the Offer of the Chinese Government to the holders. of the Bonds of the above Loans and the Chinese Ambassador's r's Announcements in reference thereto, published in "The Times" London on 25th February, 1936 and 30th March, 1936 and 6th September, 1938 respectively. The said Offer and Announcements are set out in full on the back hereof.

No interest will be payable on this Certificate but due notice will be given in the Press as and when payments are to be made in accordance with the terms of the said Offer and Announcements and after exchange of the requisite numbers of Fractional Certificates for Delinitive Bonds the Bonds may be presented for payment as and when they become due.
