Propaganda on behalf of Sephardic immigrants issued by Beit HaRasha"l, Jerusalem, 1960s. English.
Vivid description of the social and mental difficulties faced by those who immigrated from the Sephardic countries[North Africa, and other countries]. The writer depicts the typical immigrant with two choices before him: to be a leader worthy of his community, or to be a gang leader. "We want Moshe to become a communal leader when he grows up, not a gang leader."
The writer describes the daily schedule of an immigrant who finishes his work in the afternoon, spends the rest of his day with nothing to do, and - with no other choice - ends up in the streets...The solution to the problem is joining "Beit HaRasha"l" in Jerusalem, where there are extended study hours, a high-quality dorm and emphasis on self-actualization.
