Large collection of tefillin cases [batim]. 20th century
Nice collection of about 100 tefilin "batim" made of cardboard or paper. Batim of different sizes and designs with the printed Hebrew words "Shel Rosh" and "Shel Yad". Some bear the Hebrew text "Tefilin Mehudarim Ir HaKodesh Yerusahalayim," and some are illustrated: Western Wall, Tower of David, Rachel's Tomb, Menorah of the Temple, Star of David and more.
There are a few copies of some models.
Very fine condition.
