Collection of Receipts from the "Etz Chaim" Yeshiva with the Signature of Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer
7 receipts signed with the handwritten signature of Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer.
Receipts of the "Etz Chaim" Yeshiva, at whose head he stood, from 1945-1952. All of them are dated and signed with the handwritten signature of Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer. Two of them are designated as one, to Rabbi Michael Tukachinsky, and the second to Rabbi Nissan Aharon Tukachinsky. A stamp from Palestine appears on three of them.
Rabbi Isser Zalman Meltzer [1870-1953] among the great leaders a geniuses of the generation. Served as rabbi of Slutzk and afterwards as rosh yeshiva of Etz Chaim in Jerusalem. Author of Even HaEzel.
Receipts in identical size" 10x14 cm.
Very fine condition.
