A BOUI BOUIS BOOK OF BORIS GRIGORIEV ART 1924
BOUI BOUIS is an album with a graphic cycle by the Russian artist Boris Grigoriev 1886-1939, depicted sailors, prostitutes, dockers, and others, called Boui-Bouis in France. Texts in French are from French writers Claude Farrer and Boris de Schletzer and Russian literary critic and poet Sergei Makovsky. 500 copies. Published by Petropolis Publishing House, 1924. On the front page is a note in French from a presenter, dated 1924.
