ANTIQUE ENGLISH 19TH C BLUE TRANSFERWRE PLATES
The lot includes two antique 19th century English transferware plates. Includes a rare antique W. A Adams and Sons England transferware plate featuring the Damascus pattern that has scenes of the capital city of Syria in the center and the outer border amongst floral motifs. Circa 1830s. Marked on the backside: Damascus, W. Adams and Sons. And an antique transferware ironstone Staffordshire plate with a pretty scenic design depicting a river Asian scene in the center with floral bunches surrounding medallions with architectural scenes around the edge. Marked on the backside: Lawrence. Circa 1850. European Ceramic And Porcelain Decorative Antiques And Collectibles.
Dimensions: Largest plate: D 10 1/2 in. All measurements are approximate.
