ANTIQUE 18TH C INDIAN RAJPUT MINIATURE PAINTING
A beautiful antique miniature on paper painting depicting a scene from Indian palace life, depicting the meeting of noble maidens in colorful traditional attire, circa the late 18th century. Hand painted in gouache heightened with gold on paper. This colorful image belongs to the Rajput school, 16th to 19th centuries, spread in Central India and Rajasthan on the territory of the Rajput principalities.
