WEST AFRICAN ASHANTI BRONZE COMBS W FIGURED HANDLES
A pair of traditional bronze combs from the Ashanti tribe, Ghana, West Africa. The handle of the first comb is decorated with a stylized figurine of a female figure with a child on top as a finial on a rectangular base engraved with floral motifs. The second comb is decorated with a figured-engraved handle mounted on a rectangular base engraved with floral motifs as well. The combs are covered with patina.
