ATTR TO JAMINI ROY INDIAN COURT SCENE PAINTING
Tempera on burlap painting, attributed to Jamini Roy, 1887 to 1972, Indian artist, one of the most famous pupils of Abanindranath Tagore. The artwork depicts a noble man with two servants. Signature flattened-out style influenced by the Indian bazaar paintings. Signed by the artist in the lower right. Undated. Collectible Mid Century Fine Art, Southeast Asian Artists.
