ART DECO FRENCH RUSSIAN ZODIAC SERIGRAPH BY ERTE
Erte or Romain de Tirtoff, Russian, French, 1892 to 1990, a limited edition serigraph on wove paper, Aries, from the Zodiac Suite of the year 1982. Titled lower to the center. Numbered, 298 of 350, lower left. Framed. Romain de Tirtoff was a Russian and French artist and designer known by the pseudonym Erte, from the French pronunciation of his initials. He was a 20th century genuis artist, graphic artist, illustrator, set designer, fashion designer, sculptor of the Art deco era, Russian origin, who worked in Paris and Hollywood.
