18TH C RUSSIAN AARON PROPHET ICON IN ORIGINAL FRAME
An antique Russian Orthodox hand painted icon. The rectangular piece represents an icon of Aaron the Prophet. Mixed media painting: egg tempera, gesso, and levkas on a wooden board. Presented in an original frame. Circa: 18th century. A paper label is inscribed, Russian Imperial Exhibit, on the backside. Russian Religious Silver Wares and Accessories For Collectors.
