A set of 7 small snuff boxes made of silver, decorated with Iraqi scenes in the Nile, Iraq, 1930, seven snuff boxes, 4 rectangular, 3 hexagonal.
The boxes consist of two parts connected together by a hinge.
The covers are decorated with Iraqi landscapes, made with the Nilo technique.
1- Tigris view, with a floating reed house and a sailboat. A palm tree in the foreground adds depth to the images;
2- Two sailboats and a small boat, sailing on the Tigris;
3- the iwan of Katiphon;
4- A pair of sailboats and another of rowing boats, and beside them are palm trees standing on small islands
5- Dome of a building
6- Nof Tigris, with a floating reed house and a sailboat. A palm tree in the foreground adds depth to the images;
7- In this Tigris scene there is the iwan of Catiphon on the right; a camel led by a man on the left; A palm tree on an island in the foreground.
