Natural Black Opal and Diamond Necklace
Black opal and diamond necklace. A mesmerizing 4.65 carat pear-shaped natural black opal with hues of reds and blues is bezel set in a pendant with 1.11 carats of round, brilliant-cut diamonds in the halo and bail. The pendant is cast in 14 karat yellow gold and hangs from a stunning chain of 14 karat yellow and white gold with wheat design, open links, and smooth beads. The chain is 20" long and has a lobster clasp. The pendant has an elaborate back gallery and bears the Oscar Friedman hallmark. The Romans believed opals symbolized love and hope!
