SOVIET WWII SURRENDER LEAFLETS (3)
Three Soviet leaflets, in German, addressing German soldiers and highlight the gains made by the Red Army and the Allies as well as international efforts to defeat Hitler. They include excerpts from international newspapers as well as statements by prominent military leaders, such as General Douglas Mac Arthur. One poster displays a photo of well-dressed, healthy German prisoners of war in the Soviet Union diligently working as carpenters, another poster contains a photo of multiple German vehicles abandoned during their retreat from Lozova, Ukraine, while the last poster features a caricature of Hilter looking for 'fresh cannon fodder'. Each poster comes with a pass promising the German soldiers who are willing to surrender that their lives will be spared, that they will receive a good education and a safe return to their homeland after the war. Approx. 6 x 9 inches. Very good.
