The base is inscribed in Hebrew: A GIFT TO THE SYNAGOGUE BY TZVI SON OF REB ARYEH IN MEMORY FOR THE SOUL OF HIS MOTHER SARAH LEAH DAUGHTER OF MORDECHAI ON TISHREI 1898. 9.8” tall.
