Meet Sveta Shellest (1987), an Israeli artist who specializes in drawing and embroidery, lives and works in Jerusalem.
Shenkar graduate in multidisciplinary art.
In recent years embroidery craft is making a comeback through the art world, a large number of young artists using this ancient technique can be found around the world
Sveta deals with issues related to her personal life: physicality, emotion, belonging, feminism, gender, taboo, art history and philosophy.
We fell in love with the suite and its unique embroidery works, which combine Israeli humor from everyday life and art history.
